In normal circumstances, I will never voluntarily go for a Salman Khan movie, but when I had seen the little adorable girl in the trailer, I knew I’d watch this one.

For me the movie was about a leap of faith, which a lost Pakistani mute girl Shahida a.k.a Munni (Harshaali) takes when she sees a man in another ‘mulq’ and decides to stick with him for a piggyback ride which goes a long way.

It was a delight to watch Salman Khan (Bajrangi Bhaijaan or Pawan) not breaking into forced shirtless scenes and rather doing a role which truly sui
ted him. Kareena Kapoor, though was a sidekick, looked beautiful in some scenes and probably a bit overdone make up for both Salman and Kareena was a futile effort to hide their ageing faces.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui added the much needed tadka of real acting & humour to the movie which truly kicks off from there onwards. The locales, sceneries, and the dreamlike Kashmir valley once again made me miss my heartbeat and rekindled my desire to visit that heaven at least once in my lifetime ๐Ÿ™‚

ย The parallel world drawn by the writers and the director, where there exists just goodness and peace in every human heart, be it India or Pakistan, was something that you would never want to snap out of. So watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan for the little Harshaali, who is brilliant without any dialogue in the film and for an actual story that will melt your heart and make you believe that Salman is still capable of doing sensible movies ๐Ÿ˜€
