The festive season is round the corner and along with lights, food, and decorations, it’s also that time of the year when you love giving and receiving gifts to and from your loved ones. This season, Oriflame India – a renowned beauty brand for 50 years picked up the wonderful concept of gifting education in their latest digital film along with their creative digital agency on record, Brandmovers India.
The film begins on a metaphoric note where Ajalaa (Kalki Koechlin) is seen trying to nurture a plant that’s withered and looks difficult to blossom. Showing an ardent love for gardening, she has faith that her favorite plant will spring back to life one day. She is then seen visited by her domestic help Jaanvi and her daughter Bhavisha who has recently been dropped out of school and there begins the portrayal of the lives of three women – their trials and tribulations and how a little act of kindness and compassion can go a long way. As the story pans out, we are reminded that no matter how dreary any situation may seem, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. True to Ajalaa’s beliefs, the plant does show signs of life one day and this in turn, makes her want to take a little step – to make a beautiful change.
